Dualit, famous for manufacturing toasters and home products like kettles, catering grills, hand blender, hand mixer, mini chopper, mini oven, steam station and more have set another milestone in manufacturing DAB radios. They have recently introduced a new design DAB radio, Dualit DAB Kitchen Radio.
Dualit DAB Kitchen Radio is portable with clock facility and can be placed on the table top. It comes with cast aluminium casing that has a dimension of 275 x 180 x 135 mm and weighs about 2.55Kg. It can be operated upon battery or an adaptor. The internal NiMH battery needs to be charged for 16 hours before first use. Once charged, this battery can retain the power for 3 to 4 hours in listening mode in DAB mode and for about 7 to 8 hours in FM mode.
When the radio is listened to with the headphones, it produces stereo effect sound system. Dualit Black DAB Kitchen Radio is available with 5 preset stations. The wide screen helps you to navigate from DAB to FM. It comes with the unique features such as kitchen timer, auto search and auto tuning feature. It is also available with 4 inch speaker with bass port for enriched sound quality. The LCD display comes in either white or blue colour that is easily viewable with three brightness levels. Snooze function
Snooze function also may be set using the SETUP button. This button can be pressed w hen the unit is turned on by the timer to turn the unit on standby for 0 to 9 minutes.

Kitchen timer counts down the time and sounds the buzzer when it reaches the desired time.
Sleep mode
Radio can set to sleep mode for a set period of time.
Auto tune
With the auto tune feature the DAB radio is capable of picking up the available stations. If not, it displays that there are no stations available.
Scrolling text
